The Department of Computer and Information Sciences has been a part of ETSU for more than 30 years. Like the computer industry itself, we have experienced continual change. We strive to offer our students a balance between contemporary skills and computer science theory that will enable them to be prepared to enter the current job market and to have the knowledge to absorb the necessary concepts to advance in their careers.
We have a strong faculty and staff with many and varied talents. These men and women are dedicated to providing the best possible education for our students. Those students who are willing to make a commitment to achieve their goal of a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, will find an environment that offers them many challenges and many rewards.
