Brief Job Description
I am the Executive Aide for the department, and I work directly with Dr. Terry Countermine, department chair. I serve as office manager making sure that daily office operations run smoothly and effectively. You will find me wearing many hats as I fulfill my responsibilities from decision maker to best friend and counselor.

Brief Biography
I have worked at ETSU for 22 years beginning my career in the Comptroller's Office. I worked there for 3 years and then transferred to the Computer Science Department and have been here for 19 years. I attribute part of my job effectiveness to my many contacts across campus, who have become very close friends during my years of service to the university.

Personal Information
I am married to Danny McGinnis (District Director of Department of Probation and Parole). We have been married for 37 wonderful years, and we have a daughter Karie Bennett who is a Nurse Practitioner with McLeod Blood and Cancer Center. I have a very special grandson, Christopher, who is eight years old.

When away from work, you will find me spending time with my family, decorating my house, and shopping for antiques. When at work, I take time each Friday to have lunch with my special friends who work on campus as well. We call ourselves the "Lunch Bunch" and we have made this our tradition, which has carried on for 19 years and going.
