Brief Biography
I spent 14 years in south Florida before moving to Tennessee in 1994. I received my bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2002 from ETSU and my master's degree in CS from ETSU in 2005. My graduate work included working on the PASTA project with the Carter Co. School system.
I've taught as a teaching assistant at ETSU while attending graduate school from Fall 2003 until Spring 2005. I've also taught classes in Visual Basic .NET and C++ .NET as an enrichment instructor for the Upward Bound program. I spend time working as a software designer and developer for a company based in Elizabethton, and I have worked as an architectural draftsman for almost a year.
Personal InformationI'll do just about anything that involves being outside or not sitting in front of a computer or TV all day long (yes, I am a Computer Scientist). If it's something active, I'll probably at least attempt it. Some old favorites include walking, biking, ultimate frisbee, cooking, hiking, swimming when it's very warm, and playing in the snow.
