What surprised you the most when you first came to ETSU? Snow in April???!!
If you had to choose right now where you would spend the rest of your life, where would it be and what would you do there? I am afraid I am too schizophrenic to stay in any one place. Right now the hills of Tennessee are perfect. In the winter, anywhere warm... I would walk all over the place.
What is the most unusual job you've ever held? Working on the database for the space shuttle's simulator at the Johnson Space Center. Talk about being lost in space :<)
If you were to do a celebrity endorsement of one Johnson City business or local product, which would you choose? Pals. Then I could find out how they make those burgers so fast!
Best cup of coffee in town: Not a coffee drinker. Coca Cola, now that's the real thing
Do you volunteer anywhere? Not in Johnson City yet, but spent 15 years with the American Cancer Society and helped out with Habijax (Habitat for Humanity in Jacksonville)
Do you participate in any sports? Hiking. And since you only said participate: golf and tennis.
What is your primary mode of transportation? My feet.
Have you ever been in a band? If so, what kind of band? Used to play in a rock and roll band. Also was in the high school and university band and orchestra (percussion).
What's the biggest accomplishment in your life? Meeting and marrying my best friend, Jeanne
What is your favorite bumper sticker? "The moral majority is neither"
and seen on a car in Hope Arkansas:
"Don't blame me, I didn't vote for the dope from Hope."
Are you an organ donor? Why? Yes, because it is the right thing to do.
Your greatest hidden talent: Can't seem to find it. It is hidden too well.
